just wondering if anyone out there is using tiny windows 7 and if they have come upon issues. I am planning to update my arcade with a micro atx h81 board and up windows to win7 but i dont want all the gunk that windows comes with.

I used Tiny7 on my brother's NeoGeo bartop (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,136630.0.html). Didn't have any problems at all. I also used Instant Sheller to get rid of a lot of boot up stuff and insert my own start up screens.

I just installed tiny7 as a test & so far it seems it doesn't have file sharing because I cannot connect to the share on my file server.
It could just be me missing some setting & it's turned off.
I just started using it so I will look into it further.

thanks for the replies. this will help me out on moving from XP (old friend) to Win7.

Do the tiny 7 people have a homepage?
The pc in my mame cab is super old and I can't load a lot of games due to the fact that they require win 7. I doubt stock 7 would run on it, but this might.

I have used this in the past with no problems that I can remember other than having to track down sound drivers maybe.
May still have an ISO stashed somewhere, an old thread is here....

I abandoned it because it was only available in the 32-bit flavor. The guy who made is says the 64-bit version would not fit onto 1 CD so he didn't bother making it.
