Title: Mala on game exit problem
Post by: petercobra on June 17, 2014, 11:59:09 pm
Hi,

Ive small problem with my mala. Got ESC as "exit mala" and "exit mame". When I exit mame using ESC Im unable to use any of keyboard keys until I "active" mala with LMB. Anyone knows how to fix it up?

Cheers,
Peter

I think you are losing focus.
Are you using the last version of MALA? You should...

Change to the last version of MALA. Reinstall MALA and take a look to my program AllInOneFYC.

Greetings!

My advice is that you install the last version of MALA.
Test and then you tell us.

Just installed new beta - still same. After 5-10s of playing mame on exit it exit into explorer...

Ive figured how to fix it temporaly. It looks like explorer.exe takes all focus in windows. When I turn it off mala works perfect. Still looking for better solution  :hissy:

It's some other program that is running in the background taking focus away from Mala.
On mine, it was the sound board driver software, but it only took focus away on first bootup.

How does one make sure that nothing else is grabbing away from Mame or Mala?

That happens a lot.  I don't remember what it is called, but there is a setting where the options are "Normal", "Minimized", or "Hidden".  Choosing anything other than "hidden" made Mala lose focus for me.
