Title: windows splash screen
Post by: alecrippa on June 13, 2014, 08:27:04 am
hi all,
I have a question about windows 7 rather than MaLa, but as I'm using MaLa.. I thought to ask here :)
I'm using the MaLa NanoCade layout and I created a Windows 7 splashscreen that resembles its theme.
I use a tool called "Windows 7 boot updater" to replace the whirling windows logo with a static image, and I somehow modified the light blue screen that appears just before entering windows with another home-made image.

BUT!
Is there a way to remove that nasty "Welcome" sentence? I initially thought to hide it by placing a white background beneath it, but it has a shadow! So the only option is to get rid of it.
And that ugly blue mouse pointer too, shaped as a ring, that appears alongside.. Do you know a way to hide it?

Thanks
AC

I haven't done it personally, but here are instructions for "hiding windows 7 completely"
