Title: Switchbox recommendations

Hello, all.  Could you please recommend a good video switchbox?  As far as features go, the dream switchbox would have the following:

-At least four inputs
-One of which is S-Video
-One of which is A/V composite
-One of which is RGB component
-One of which is standard VGA
-At least four outputs, ditto on all.
-The capability to easily wire your own selection switches (heh.  I'm not really expecting this one)

How can you guys help me?  I've come across a mediocre (http://www.pelicanperformance.com/universal/popup/pl_957_pro_system_selector_pop.html) Pelican switchbox, but it's not nearly as robust as I would like.  Thanks for your time!

Well, this can't be that dumb of a question.  Heh.

All right, what switchboxes do you guys use?  Do you use them at all?  Don't you find it convenient to be able to put a couple of console systems in your cab?

Just to let you know that is an extremley tall order even minus the wiring of your own selection switches ;)

If you are just running all this to a regular tv then just get a video card with tv output and an s-video I guess you could go with rgb if you had a high def but otherwise its pointless.  The rest of what I'm going to write applies only if you want to run everything to a PC monitor.

Things always get really complicated when you try to covert anything to vga (besides dreamcast) you need an upscan converter and assuming you want a nice picture you are talking a min of 200 bucks.  The only thing I have seen that even remotly meets your requirements is the Micomsoft XRGB-2 (plus or nonplus) Upscan Converter or the XSelect-D4 D & Component/RGB Selector Unit  (also by Micomsoft) .  It appears to be a good product I dont have one but would like to own one.  If it came with a Jap s cart connector instead of a pal one I might have picked it up because then you could hook up a ton of consoles really easilly.  But the Xselect should really do what you want there are bigger and maybe better ones but you are then talking 300+ most are imports from japan so they arent exactally fully supported over in the states.  Bellow are some links to places to buy or reviews about the swithces good luck to finding what you need you might also want to try google.

Only think I can come up with is a few TV/Video inputs for your computer, and a video card with the outputs you want.  Doable, but likely not easy.

Narrow down your needs, and you might find a workable switch box at WalMart though
