so I have a project I want to do.. I want to make minature replicas (as 100% close to the original as possible)
but I cant find good schematics to base from let alone know how to scale the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- so that I can even start.. im going to have the wood done for me but I need to get the guy a good set of plans.
Anyone out there able to help?
Im looking to do a small 10" monitor so the space for the cabinet to start scaling would be the horizontal space where the normal monitor would go.
the following cabinets Im looking to miniturize:
Mortal Kombat
Narc
Double Dragon
TMNT
Street Fighter II
NBA Jam
Contra
Robocop
Donkey Kong
anyone have any starting points and or tips - I would greatly appreciate it

Have you looked at Gozer's sketchup cabs here (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/cldetails?mid=4ac3dc12784cb20bd06e6be4f8954ac&prevstart=0)?

never knew that exsisted - can I use it to scale the projects on there? and then print them out to be laid out/traced to cut the wood?

IIRC there is a plugin that converts a sketchup file to a cut list layout, but I'm not sure how to do that. :dunno
Scaling the printout shouldn't be too difficult. ;D
