Title: Identify this transformer. Isolation transforner? Step down transformer?

I assume this is 230V in and 18V out?

If I plug it in backwards, it would step the voltage UP but whatever ratio, so I'll try that first.

Do you want me to stand in a bucket or water while I do it?
