I deleted the . Ini file for that system, reset up the directory in mess for that system. The mess recreated a new system .ini file and all was good with the world ;D
Hey guys still having problems with messui, it works fine on my big cab (running windows 7).
I am currently building two weecades, currently im setting up the computers for them. ive brought to PCs with 1.5gb ram and P4 3.0ghz with Hyper Threading but no hard drives, so i put hard drives in them and installed XP Professional SP3 on them, made sure Visual C++, DirectX and Net Framework were all up to date. i click on mess, mess opens and i show mess were the roms are for a system (ive tried different systems), them when i click on the system to run it mess crashes and fails to run.
i have tried different versions of messui, i have tried 2 clean installs of different versions of XP and i have also tried this on the two different PCs.
i come to the conclusion thats something missing.
This is really winding me up and i cant think whats going wrong. :badmood:
Please could someone help please.
