Title: Just started a new build. Thoughts on this shape?

After weeks (or maybe months) of searching I was going to build a taitorama based cab. But then I thought the Centipede design was much cooler.
Then I ended up doing something a bit more freestyle. I think it might need some tweaking. But what are your thoughts on this shape as a starting point?

I'm not sure whether to build the CP unit with board 'on top' of the extending arms ... or ... inbetween them. I plan to extrude the CP out a bit to make
it a bit more comfortable for the players.

If your going to mame it with 6 or so buttons for 2 players you might need to extend the cp a bit. I built my cp on the inside and it gets quite crowded with me and the wife especially when stools are involved.
