I've never played the PC version. (The arcade version is playable with Demul emulator).
It's guilty gear for up to 4 players. No idea what control configurations for four players the PC version supports.

Vanguard Princess was originally a free homebrew game made by a former Capcom employee.
It's still out there for free, but the Japanese version can be a PITA to get working.

I was a box of jerks when I paid $1.01 for it. Did you get Vanguard Princess? Is it good?

I had the old Japanese homebrew version on my old emulator setup.
On XP, you need a windows plugin called applocale so an English version of windows can work with the Japanese characters.
IIRC, I found a hacked "English version" for the new cab. It isn't the steam game. It's just like the old Japanese one.
I only played it a few times since installing it. Did some button mashing, but couldn't get into it.
One thing of note is that based upon some reviews I've read, the characters in the Steam version aren't showing as much skin.
....if that sort of thing is important to you. ::)
I've never heard of Blade Symphony.
I'm probably too cheap to find out if it's any good.

I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. I used to get the bundles and pay the suggested amount, but then I realized I wasn't actually playing the games I bought... I'm mostly a sucker for charity. It's kind of like the veterans thing.... yeah I'm not paying to 20 bucks for the 50 cent terry cloth towel you sent because you send the stupid things every month.

I just paid a penny less than Eric. :lol
Wasn't even sure if I wanted it or not, but figured there was no excuse not to get it for a buck while available.
I'm more interested in contributing to the knowledge base about whether it's cab friendly or not than actually playing it.
I easily have 60+ games gotten through Humble Bundles that I've never played or only played enough to find out that they wouldn't work well on an arcade cab.

I feel similar. Although, I'm conflicted, having just recalled that I am on record as intending to remove the top 3 buttons because I don't play enough fighters. I'm looking forward to today's deal.

I got it for $5.10 to get the fighting game. Hopefully I'll actually play these. The only humble bundles I really got my moneys worth out of were the ones that had Saints Row , the one with Jamestown, and the Pinball FX one.
The rest has just been my contribution to charity.

Blade Symphony looks cool. Like a crazy bushido blade with updated graphics. I don't know how many buttons it would take to run it though. It'll come back to the bundle as a cheaper game eventually.
