Title: AMD A6 APUs and MAME / HLSL

My mame cab has been based of a 12" Thinkpad X60T, and has actually been running pretty well.
However I've decided to squeeze a 15" monitor in and put a more powerful PC in.

Couple of games I'd like to run that didn't before are TimeCrisis and Carnevil
I'd also like to play with the shader effects - HLSL etc.

Would an AMD A6 6400K based machine do the job?

I could get hold of an E7400 / 4GB / 9800GT rig for pretty much free, so that is another option.

Why stop at a A6 when a A10 would future proof it.  Works for M$ and $ony consoles.
