I would have liked to gone, but didn't know about it in time.
What songs did they play?

They are a European  rock & roll band from from Denmark.  It's not fair to pigeon  hole their style because they do a wide range.   If you want to try something knew, look them up on YouTube, the full albums are available there.

I went to an Anvil concert two weeks ago.  Including staff and members of the opening acts, there were 40 people there.  Most depressing thing I ever saw... and I left early.

If it had been around here, I could've brought a group close to half that.  We love the documentary, no matter how terrible Lips sings.

As for Volbeat, I worked in a music store, sold their stuff, but have no clue about them or how they sound.

Their entire stage persona is, "man, I've met famous people.  I coulda been famous, man."

Granted, it was a Tuesday night, and Houston is many things but it's not unpopulated.

 It was sad and embarrassing. 

I'll give Volbeat a listen.
