Title: Marquee lighting - F15T8 UK?

Some forum searching indicates that the consensus for "authentic" marquee lighting is to go with the 18", 15w F15T8 bulb. I've done some Googling and while I can find the bulb just fine in the UK, I can't find a fitting for it.

Could anyone who's managed to get this item in the UK let me know where they got it?? It's seems weird to me that it should be this hard to track down...

Alternative question.

Would an 18w T8 be much brighter or would I not realistically notice the difference? 'Cos these seem to be more readily available
