This just happened over the weekend, sorry I wasn't able to report live from the scene for you.

He's just pointing out that there have been at least 3 other threads about this so far.

Ahh, that makes sense, I stand corrected.   With PBJ, I always just assume he is being a ---meecrob---.

Well to be fair he almost always is.  That doesn't necessary mean he's wrong though... you can be both.  ;)

They are only showing that they found 1 game right? WTF is wrong with everyone.

There are pictures showing a whole bunch of them, and other games besides ET.

Yeah, looks like there was dumping of returned unsold Atari stuff but nothing like the numbers that were in the legend.  Since they only had a one day permit and the city owns anything they dig up we have seen pretty much everything that's coming up.

Where the ---fudgesicle--- are the images for all these ET games!

Yeah, the rumor was "millions of copies".  A truckload of junk doesn't cut it.

Of course, if you told me some idiot bought up all the old Atari games and shoved it in a cave in Missouri, I'd say you were full of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, too.  Except that one is actually true....

That one is totally plausible.  It's a commercial storage facility.  People will pay to store anything.

Urban legend confirmed we found 1 ET game! Well either Atari dumped about 3 million copies of this game from their warehouse or maybe some dude was cleaning out his garage like 10 years ago and it ended up here.

I swear I feel like I am in the Idiocracy world. “No plants need water to grow not Gatorade.” Than some moron like yotsuya will chime in with; ”if plants need water then why don’t they grow in my toilet.”

 :banghead:

(There are pictures of multiple ET's unearthed and reports suggest they actually found hundreds of copies.)

If you did any real reading (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,138933.msg1436347.html#msg1436347), BRO, you'd see that they didn't actually dig up the concrete where they buried the lot of the games. The dug nearby, where they did the first run, but where kids were looting games initially, so that's why did the second burial in concrete. If you'd actually do some reading and check out the links via Google or even read other threads, you'd know that.
