Title: mp4 video not looping

I replaced my old Mala 1.74 version with the 1.82 beta to use hi quality mp4 videos from emumovies. The videos fade in, play once, then fade out, then nothing. No repeat. If I switch back to an avi video, the video playa instantly and loops, no fade in/out. Is there an option somewhere that I'm missing to set in the beta version for mp4 videos?

Also, if an mp4 video is playing and I'm accessing the options window, when the video ends and if the option window is open, Mama becomes unresponsive. As if something is chewing up extreme amounts of CPU and/or memory. I have to click on cancel and wait awhile then the option window closes.

Okay, I think this is a Windows 8.1 problem. I moved the Mala 1.82 to my arcade cabinet running XP and the videos run and loop just fine. Also, no stutter or jitter while accessing the options menu when the video ends.
