PinballX - FE
Visual Pinballm 9.2.1 or DX9 beta - emu
Future Pinball w/BAM mod - emu

visual pinball has the most real tables.  you can find a widescreen version of almost any real game and the popular ones have fullscreen versions as well.  if you go to VPforums.org they have good tutorials on how to get started.

FP requires more system resources, has a nicer look and fewer tables developed.  don't know much more than that on FP.

I use both Future Pinball and Visual Pinball. Both have their strengths and weakness, however, I believe that both programs now have a large collection of "real" or digitally recreated tables. I play Future Pinball more because of the excellent 3D graphics and camera options. Future Pinball's physics have been vastly improved recently with the availability of Physics 2.5+, ZedPinball Physics, and/or BAM.

You might want to read the following blog posts (with videos) I wrote about each of these pinball emulators for more information:

Visual Pinball (the only way to play emulated Baby Pac-man):

Future Pinball:

I hope this helps.  ;)
