ok! got the arcage vga all set up and installed. installed it on my dvi monitor set up the trimode settings rebooted and it works! pluged in my arcade monitor to the vga port boots through the bios but then when boots widows i get a bit of garbage the no screen just hangs with a blank picture? any idead why or if someone hand the same problem?

I dont have any experience with arcade vga but what version of windows are you running and are you sure windows is set to 640x480 60Hz?

look in the fourms and find 15khz.zip or such,it is a proggie we use to make
the converion right
it will help u a ton...
i do not know if it carrys the file or not ?

i use it in native windows when i am doing ega/cga and or rgb monitor repairs
so i can see xp run

The whole point of arcade vga is that you dont nedd to use soft15khz... not to mention soft15khz dosnt work in win 7 or 8.

Sounds like you set up the Arcade VGA on the wrong port. You should set it up on the VGA port (Dsub) and not the DVI port. Once it's working on the VGA port with another monitor at 640 x 480 with the modified ATI drivers at Ultimarc.com it should work once you plug your arcade monitor in.
