Title: old wii
Post by: dcninja on April 12, 2014, 05:36:23 pm
I'm debating on getting an old wii (i have a wii u) but I'm debating on getting the old one since it hooks up to SD tv like I have in my cab and using it for the light gun games, i have all the light gun games for wii and that may be cool to run ghost squad and hotd in my cab...I'm sure an old wii wouldn't run too much and I have component on my tv I could run it through... should I even bother or should I keep my mame cab just as mame and run those games on the wii u that's hooked to the 42in lcd footsteps away? lol decisions...

Keep your mame cab for mame and hack the original wii inside your wii u. Just make a seperate cab for it. Things are usually better when they are for one purpose, instead of trying to be good for everything. Some arcade cabinets can easily get carried away.

that's what I was thinking, I could always run console emu on my ouya on the tv, and the wii on the tv for the light gun games. arcade will be for arcade games.
