$50 cash in hand
lol Malenko and im buying Pbj
-
Actually, if it's been sitting on CL for a while, $50 cash-in-hand isn't a bad offer. But only if it's been there a while. $90 for a Bosch is a smoking deal.
-
That's a damn good router (rooter? whatever) buy two. ;)
-
Also ne one knows whats the diference . Seems like comes with extra base
-
One looks like a standard router, the other is a plunge base. Why are you still talking here, compa? Go buy it now!!!!
-
Yeah, Bosch makes good stuff. That set shows up on google for 199 to 309$+
90$ is a great deal for that set.
-
That is about what I paid for mine without the case. You'll want the case. Did you get it?
-
I think I have that same model and it has served me very well.
-
 mmmm seems like some one from here is also betting On My...!! Router...
-
Wait, is it eBay or Craigslist?
-
Wait, is it eBay or Craigslist?

unless the auction is over, the price is probably going to go up. Thats how eBay works :p
-
i know :soapbox: sellers betting with second accts In some items i ended in second and of course i get second offer seller was runnig price high Im staying on $100 max bet (i always set my bet to what i want to pay if goes hight i let it go . Waiting for second offer)
-
Tell them "No Thanks!"

Did a quick search of completed auctions and similar items (Bosch w/ case and plunge base) seem to be completing at $150 range (plus shipping and handing - which is another $20-$30 if it's domestic.)
You may get lucky with you top dollar bid of $100 but I suspect the snipers are going to drive that up in the closing minutes. I would start investigating other options.

Why do you think someone on here is bidding on it too?

no, Im not bidding

Lol so he wasted all our time then.
eBay is only useful when you have the "buy it now" option at this point. Unless you are wanting something so absolutely worthless that nobody else will bid.

or if you're willing to overpay out the wazoo.
-
Yeah, what Howard and Malenko said. If you're on a budget, eBay isn't a great choice unless you're willing to get something "well-used" (read: needs work/parts out of the box.) That being said, I did get a refurbished $60 Porter-Cable router (bare-bones, no plunge base or anything) off Amazon that's perfectly fine if you're just using it for your arcade build. Ah, scratch that, it would be fine for most things unless you're woodworking for a living.
Also keep an eye on Craigslist and don't overlook yard sales if there are any by you. I wasn't buying tools last year by I did run across some older but completely useful tools. Often enough, the owners are more interested in getting rid of it than getting top dollar.
-
Another place to check is local pawn shops (figure old seldom used tools are pawned quite often to pay bills when work is scarce)
-
You guys r right well im going to start searching for other options . I think this is going for more than $100. Thanks for the advice

Last time a checked I'm not a dictator from a small banana republic. There isn't a "r" in Casto.
If you honestly think that when someone asks for an opinion on this thread we just blurt out the first thing that comes to mind instead of actually sitting down to research the question asked you are kidding yourself and think very low of us.
