Title: Windows Vista Folder Information Question

I think I could be wording this wrong as I cant find info online.
I thought I would ask here as many of you guys have amazing know how.
In Windows vista on the bottom of folders I had information showing up prior, number of items in folder, total folder size, etc.
This info is missing and I don't know how to get it back.

Any help ?

its somewhere under view or folder views and I think it is called status bar.

I should note that I did check folder options (in control panel) and restore to default.... but I did not provide the same result. I will try again.

Duh me!
I never thought to get out my wife's laptop (also running Windows Vista) and see what I modified.
It was the details pane. I've now found the solution.
