Well, I've been looking for a great condition Virtua Racing rear marquee for about 3 months now and I haven't been able to locate one. So now I'm thinking I'd be better off with a printed image (my bro can print it for free) and just making it from my own plexi.
I'd like to ask if someone could convert this image for me so I can scale it properly and have it printed as a high res raster image. It doesn't look like it'd be very difficult, in fact it is almost all straight lines except for the text, which looks to be a very common font.
If someone would be willing to help out, I'd greatly appreciate it. And I'm sure others could use it in the future, since apparently this part is very hard to find in good condition (probably because it is low and easy for kids to punch/kick/etc.)
Thanks,
Wade

tbombaci,
That's freakin' awesome! Thanks a lot! I really didn't expect someone to just up and do it, I figured someone would at least ask some questions or look for something in trade or what not.
I've been looking for a nice one for months and the only one I found was in ratty condition and was really overpriced. I'll have my brother print this one and mount it between plexi and it'll look PERFECT!
I don't usually browse the artwork forum on here but I spent some time yesterday looking around. I have to say, this forum is building a LOT of nice artwork. A lot of it is so impressive that it makes me want to build or restore a game just to have an opportunity to use it!! I might just print some sideart to use as a poster in my gameroom. :)
Thanks again. It really looks great, I can't wait to get it printed and mounted!

I made some minor corrections to the image, mostly color changes and extended the borders (the image I gave tbombaci was cropped because it was taken from a photo of a mounted marquee). Had it printed and it looks absolutely AWESOME!
If anyone needs this in the future I can email or upload the full-sized image. Just email me at wadelanham at hotmail.
Thanks again tbombaci!
