Good news for Vigo's (so far unofficial) World Record Snacks n' Jaxson (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,131175.msg1344705.html#msg1344705) game if there is no longer a fee.

The linked doc mentioned possible refunds for unprocessed submissions, but I didn't see anything about whether or not new submissions will be charged a processing fee.   :dunno

EDIT: Just noticed this was posted on the Twin Galaxies Facebook page 6 hours ago:

Brian Kita '“Will Twin Galaxies be charging for score submission?”

No. As long as Jace Hall is the Head Custodian and Caretaker of Twin Galaxies, Twin Galaxies will never be charging for score submissions or adjudication ever again. Period.'

Not surprisingly, I really can't bring myself to care.  :-\ I just see a bunch of ---Deutsche Frankfurters--- wagging in an attempt to see whose is bigger.

Besides that, wasn't the point of the fees to try and reduce the number of submissions against the time it takes for verification of the scores?

I for one am glad they are back, but after hearing about the stuff Walter did for the King of Kong does make me worry about the legitacamy of the whole thing.

That was the rationalization but not the real purpose.  They paid money to acquire TG with a business plan.
