Something I've thought about ever since the Wii came out, what about using a Wiimote (or 3rd party knock off) to de-shell, stick into a gun shell and use that for light gun games?
I know the idea works in theory, as there is Wiimote software for the pc and such and I've hooked my Wiimote up and got it working with emulators and such.
plus an advantage over stuff like the guns of old is they would be resolution independent and not need to use any silly white screen over the game and such (possibly just some calibration)
And you could most likely have perfect accuracy if you use 4 of the IR LEDS in each corner of the screen (maybe overkill?)
Was mainly wondering if anyone else has thought of or tried this (or had any caveats), and if so has any pics of their results and such?

Just get a Pelican Crossfire. Excellent controller. If you can get your hands on one.
