Hi ,
Just thought I'd post a few pics of my recently completed Robotron 2084 themed 2 Player Bartop.
It took me the guts of a year to complete, competing with work and family life, but I am happy with the end product.
Its running MAME and MALA frontend
Any comments or observations please feel free to offer...
I was going into arcades from the early 80's to the early 90's and the games of that era are those that I enjoy. I like Robotron, hence the theme, but am brutal at it.
I'll post some build photos in a bit

that's real nice. slick finished product. Thanks for sharing.
To enjoy Robo emulation closest to a real machine, try this version of mame .148.

Would love to hear more details on the build process... How did you gain access to the controls underneath for maintenance?
That said, do you have a template for the sides. Love that shape! :applaud:

I made the bottom panel removable for the part that is immediately under the CP. So to access, tilt the whole bartop back onto the back panel and remove the cover. Actually works quite well.
Here's the template for the side panels. Dims in millimetres.
