Title: Using 15khz on Windows desktop
Post by: tisurame on March 07, 2014, 03:51:19 pm
Hi,

After installing CRT_emudriver, it seems I can only use the low resolutions 15khz video modes with MAME. If I try to select resolutions like 256x240 or 320x240 on the Windows desktop, these resolutions are displayed in 31khz. But I would like to also use those video modes with the Windows desktop itself and others emulators, like it is usually done with Soft15khz. Is it possible? How?

Thanks!

Hi tisurame,

What ATI card are you using? Maybe it's one of the models that don't allow low dotclocks.

Anyway, if this is no the case, it is perfectly possible to set your desktop to whatever low resolution you want to, just like with Soft-15kHz (it is just the *same* thing).

Check you have actually created the modes with VMMaker, etc.
