Whoop. I was hardcore into thief back in the day. If you haven't played it, it's like first-person medieval splinter cell. Sort of steam-punky art style. Thief 3 was absolutely horrible. They switched it to third person, and that sort of ruined it. They had lots of new things but they all felt rushed.
I'll be grabbing this Tuesday - many a reboot/remake of a game has been half or less than the original, and I am skeptical but hopeful. I used to use the editor to make entire areas of a city, and then it would be sort of an open-world level where you could just steal from anyone. It looks like that has been implemented into this new one.
