Title: Sync problem with video?

Hi, I just got my account activated to be able to ask this.

I have a wells gardner 25k7197 and j-pac (which was tested and works fine alogn with the monitor ). This is conected to aATI Radeon 4850 512MB (RV770) with calamity drivers  on a computer running xp

You can see the problem I'm having with the image in the video below. There's some kind of sync issue, also there's no sharpness and the image is kind of wavy.

I'm trying to find out the values that will make it work. I'm using
12.192 
v res 640
v start 656
v stop 720
v total 800 
h res 480
h start 244
h stop 248
h total 254
-HSync
+VSync

I already joined the hsync and vsync cables from the VGA port.
 One thing I should mention is that my video card only has DVI ports and I'm using an adapter (dont know if this affects anything).

Any clues on where I should go frome here?

im not sure but i notice you have

-HSync
+VSync

shouldnt they be the same ie. both +  or both -
especially if you joined the hsync and vsync wires

thank you for the feedback, do you know what kind of modeline i need to write? thank you i need to copy and paste in a txt for soft15khz to appply
