Title: Just Jedi things

What would Darth Vader's chest plate look like if were based on current technology?  I feel like it might be more like Tony Stark's core atomic generator thingy.  For example, the Dark Side of the force should be able to sustain his life support, but not regenerate burnt limbs.  So, there should be a vacuum of glowing red where is hateful dead heart is, not some weird box with red and yellow buttons/lights.

Is there any (now defunct) extended universe where Leia leads the Rouge Squadron?

Not that I've ever seen.  That sounds more like a Marvel What If scenario.

I know there is one where Leia is a Jedi, but I dont know about her leading the rogue squadron. Im not nerdy enough to know that or not :/

Well I don't think Vader's "hateful dead heart" is necessarily cannon.  But how much cooler would a stark power cell thing with the empire logo look instead of these?

Pretty much right after Return of the Jedi she goes and trains with Luke to become a Jedi.  She's a Jedi from that point forward in the entire universe but doesn't actually wear the robes or saber because she is more interested in being a diplomat.  It's pretty much put out there that her Force talents are in diplomacy and state affairs.
