Title: Gamelist name AND pictures?
Post by: Superfrog on February 19, 2014, 08:00:19 am
Hi there,

I'm building my custom layout in mala for my pinball, and I want a image game list, but you can only have picture list or title list, not all together  :banghead:

Is there a way to put some text under the selected game image or do I have to use the Hyperspin name image?

Here some concept...... early stage design....

Thanks

This design looks amazing! I hope you can get it to work the way you'd like :)

When this gets completed, I really would love to get a copy of your layout :D

you can do that...in the layout editor, go to objects and enable one of the text fields, then use the properties of it to define what it displays....for my dk layout, i defined my text as:

~g_description - ~g_year

i had it at the bottom of the screen.  you selected the game using images, but the text showed up with the name of the game and the year...

First time I build a layout from scratch and it's very satisfying work when a plan comes together

Again, thanks Severdhed for this tip  :notworthy:
