Hey guys,
Shot Andy an email but thought I'd try here too.
I just replaced an ipac 2 in my mame machine to replace a failing one. My new ipac is installed in a cocktail table and works great after I upgraded the winiPac software.
I have a few lapbox controllers with unique controls that I plug into a hidden USB port in the cocktail table. These controllers have old ipacs and min ipacs in them. The new ipac software (winiPac 2.0.8) is not recognizing the old ipacs/min ipac (used to work with WiniPac 1.2.136). Is there a solve for this?
I've heard about a firmware upgrade but not sure if that's the fix.
Thanks for the help!

Use the older version of the software with your older controllers.

Tried that but it's not a great solution. The controllers won't hold memory now. I have to open winiPac and hit program them each time. I used to be able to plug and play.
