My friend is building a cab and he just got an over under coin door but the coin mechs did not have any light bulbs or the sleeves in which the light bulbs go into. The coin mechs are "Coin Controls" and have a flat metal piece in which the plastic light bulb sleeve (which holds the light bulb) would slide onto. Does anyone know where to get these sleeves? Hopefully HappControls have these somewhere (since he needs to place an order soon anyways) but I can not locate them.
Basically, he needs two black plastic sleeves which hold the light bulbs (do not need the actual light bulbs) and which have the connects to attach ground and 5V to.
Thanks for the help.

You're talking about a lamp socket for wedge base lamps. There's one that's close in the Happ Controls catalog. It's part number 42-0351-00.
The original socket for the Coin Controls door is no longer available (to my knowledge) since Coin Controls got bought out by Money Controls several years ago. Money Controls discontinued all coin acceptors, coin doors, and replacement parts for the amusement industry in favor of bill acceptors for the vending and gambling industry.

Can not locate this on the HappControls website. How did you find it? I will keep looking.
Since the part which fits the Coin Controls over/under coin doors are no longer being made, does some have have two extra? I am sure my friend will pay for the shipping costs to get these parts.

On the Happ site go to the coin doors page and check out the "exploded drawings" of either the over/under doors or pinball door and you'll see the socket. You have to order it by phone if it doesn't show up on the website.

Ok, I looked at the HappControls site again (which I did prior to opening up this thread) and now saw the part number you referenced. I do not believe this will fit on to the CoinControls door. The part in the exploded view from the Happs site does not seem like it would slide on to a flat metal piece which is about 1/2 wide. I will have my friend take a pic of his coin door and post it here showing the place where the light bulb sleeve should slide on to and maybe you can check it out.

Yes, the Happ socket is a bit different. It has a clip whereas the original Coin Controls socket was slide on. The Happ is all that's available today. Otherwise you'll have to hunt for a NOS socket or buy a used Coin Controls door on ebay. Money Controls won't even acknowledge that they even made coin doors before. :(
