It is on my wishlist for sure.  From now on, I only buy my 1's and 0's on discount.  Or if it is under $5.

Added to my wishlist.  I'd probably go ahead and buy it if I had any time to play.

I'm with both of you,  I still got so many games I really should finish off on PS3 & 360. On top of that I'm a cheapskate and only like paying about £5 for a game.   ::)

i just put this on my cabinet last night...played for a few minutes, it is pretty good....although i am having a problem with it.  It won't let two players use the keyboard for controls, so i had to resort to that virtual xbox 360 controller workaround used for MK9.  This seems to work just fine, i set both players to use the xbox 360 controllers and all is well, until i exit the game.  when i launch it again, it defaults back to player 1 using the keyboard, and player 2 using controller 1.  if i go in and change it, it works fine, but will not keep that setting for some reason. it isn't that big of a deal for me, but i want me kids to be able to use it without going through that hassle every time....any ideas?

I haven't bought the game yet, but sometimes a game will default to the first controller touched in the title screen (the one that says press space or press enter to continue).  Are you are pressing a button other than the one mapped to the start button of P1's virtual xbox pad?

I played this last year with a bud and it was a blast.  Yes, some of the 80s references are pretty ham-fisted, but, if you go in with the right attitude, it is a hoot.  At first the controls may seem slow, but you slowly start to pick up a rhythm and it shows its depth.  I tried playing it solo a few times and it really doesn't shine unless you are playing with another person.

This and the upcoming Pacman Battle Royale will be making their way to my cab in the not-so-distant future.

i tried pressing only the button mapped as start on the virtual controller 1, but it still defaults to keyboard for p1 and controller 1 for p2 whenever you exit the game.  i even made sure to remap the keyboard controls to buttons i'm not using so there were no overlaps....i'm not sure how to fix it

Hope we can get the keyboard issues sorted.  Would love to have this on my cab eventually!

I'm still on the fence, but will probably get it.

EDIT:  Watched some gameplay videos on youtube and couldn't resist buying it.
I love me some beat 'em ups.

Slow day at work and the steam summer sale are proving to be a bad combination.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I was banging my head against this same issue recently and was wondering if anyone ever found a suitable solution...

I also wouldn't mind recommendations for mapping the buttons to a standard 8-button layout.

My first recommendation would be to make sure you are responding to the correct thread...

You mean the thread where people were expressing their problems with getting the game to allow both players to use the keyboard? or save the controller assignment?

...yes, this is the one.
