I found out that SEGA used Allan Bradly Potentiometers (feel free to correct me if I am wrong on that).....but since they are quite cheap (one seller wanted 17USD for the pot and 66!!!!!!!! for the shipping) I looked for alternatives.
Since I mame my Hang-On I talked to Andy of Ultimarc because of there UHid and he told me that I can use whatever pot I want.
Accelerator and brake are new original stock parts...so they are genuine 5K-Ohm pots and I am not sure if I can mix pots with different values, thats why I look for pots with the same value for the steering, what do you think about that one:

I picked up the pots for a HangOn rebuild at radio shack. 4 buck a pop or something. If the post is too long just use some snips and cut it short. They are wired as pots and not as resistors so you can use whatever, just use a linear taper and not an analog taper.

Boom. $3.49 at the shack. 5k ohm even. And how!

The single price isn't so bad , but there is a lot of them... I spent like 125.00 on the set to rebuild my cp.

I started the Arcade-Machine restoring....I always can use pots.....

There is like 5 of them, That Cp is a multi layer wheelie pulling monster... So 5 x 20.00 (what I paid) And a spare, with shipping, 125.00... But if you think that's out of line try rebuilding that thing with NOS parts, that comes out to around 500.00.

Yeah because that's not a hang-on. There are three and if you spend more than $12 to replace them all you're either rebuilding for a rich moron or you're a moron.

After rereading this thread It has come to Jennifers attention that I was referring to Enduro racer.... ( **Blush... So embarrassed), However In my defense, It is the same cp.... And as for opting to not go to Radio shack and chop off some maybe fit, That doesn't make me rich or stupid... It makes me want to just make it right at any cost.

Those $4 pots from the local Chinese junk electronic store, ie radio shack, dick smith and jaycar are ok for home use but don't try to put them in a sited machine as they wear out 20 times faster than an original Japanese made stainless version due to the high use and dirty burger bar conditions.
Just my 2 cents :P

Not entirely the same.....but quite the same....yes....
I perform a lot of machine work to my Hang-On to get rid of the bearing-play......I make a new flansh for the steering shaft to fit 4 big ball bearings to the shaft.
Also the the two bolts that are connected to the springs that center the handlebars get needle bearings :)

It will be home use for the rest of that machines life....but I still would go with a high quality pot...but where to get them?

Use the drop downs to select the exact style of pot you need (shaft type, size, terminals, resistance track material etc) and get a ton of cheap durable options and a few expensive ones so you can feel like you're doing something worth while.

You don't need to, you can just answer the ones that apply to slim down the list. If you have the old pot you can measure the post (actuator length), put what type of post it is, and take a pretty good guess at the body type and that will get you 95% of the way. Plus by holding shift you can select multiple. eg there are 198 round pots at 5k ohm. You narrow that by shaft or just reduce the size to match and you'll have a pretty tight list of perfect options.
