Title: What are these parts called? (Harness and crimp terminals)
Post by: edgeofblade on January 20, 2014, 05:53:30 pm
http://www.u-hid.com/home/harness_options.php (http://www.u-hid.com/home/harness_options.php)

I got an RGB led push button from Ultimarc but I'm unfamiliar with these components. The link above is merely illustrative. I'd like to know what these wiring harness connectors are called, if I were to do an Amazon search for example.

What's the name of the crimp pins that lock into the plug and what is the plug's style name?

Those are .100" (2.54mm) pin sockets.

I think that the Molex SL Modular Connectors (http://www.molex.com/molex/products/datasheet.jsp?part=active/0022552101_CRIMP_HOUSINGS.xml) (70450 series) will work well for a 2-row setup.

Another possible product line for a single-row setup is the Molex KK series (http://www.twistywristarcade.com/47-molex-100-kk-series).

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you both.
