Hi Guys,
I powered up my new-to-me D9200 monitor today. I get the blue screen and menu just fine but it won't pick up the signal from my PC.
Although, another crt monitor I have gets it just fine.
I'm sending out a 640x480 @60 over a VGA cable which tested good.
When I boot up the PC the 9200 just flashes a solid blue screen about 5 times, then says no signal.
Any Ideas appreciated.

I got it working! But not without a call with the guy I bought it from (poor guy, probably wants to be rid of me after two calls in a week).
There is a jumper on the back of D9200 VGA input board - I had to move a small 6pin connector from the EGA/CGA labeled side to the VGA labeled side.
-
Sweet! I hope it works out well for you - I always wanted a multisync, but never wanted to shell out the $$$.

Yeah, I had to pay $250 for it. But it was completely recapped and It looks like it had fairly mild use in the last 12 years. Now I'm faced with the task of configuring groovymame and standard mame, custom ATI/calamity drivers, by following a few different conflicting Noob guides - all very mysterious. But it should all pay off in the end!

Yep, it'll all pay off eventually. When all else fails, let trial and error be your guide.

Can you take a picture of the VGA input board on yours? I have two of them with different revision boards, and one isn't working. It had some bad components on it, and I'm trying to find someone with a good one to match up to see if something isn't right.
Thanks!

Let me know if you want a better picture, the jumper is on the left side in this pic (VGA).

That looks like the same one as my bad one. Yeah, if you could get a better picture of that side and of the component side as well, I would appreciate it. I'm looking to see on the solder side if the zener diodes are connected to each other and to see if I can follow the traces. Mine has significant burn damage.

As requested, a couple of macro shots. If you need anymore of the other side, I'll trade ya - if you can tell me how to make my Smashtv playable with a custom modeline .

Thanks, that helps alot! The only other thing I need to know is the colors of the bands on the resistors at R518 and R525. Mine were so cooked that you couldn't tell, and we guessed at what they looked like they should be.
Man, if I could've ever gotten custom modelines to work right, I'd probably still be running MAME cabs. I'd love to help you out back in return, but I never could figure that stuff out. :dunno
