Title: GA sound delay
Post by: jtslade on January 16, 2014, 08:18:53 pm
Got my T-amp today and wired it into my JPac and I notice that the sound is just slightly behind the video..

Does anyone know which settings to start adjusting ??

Try setting the "audio_latency" option in mame.ini to a lower value. You can use fractional values like 1.5.

5.3.3 sound_latency

Sets the audio latency.
sound_latency TIME
Options:

TIME    Latency in seconds from 0.01 to 2.0. (default 0.1)
Increase the value if your hear a choppy audio.

Should I have mine on 0.1 instead of the 1.5 that I changed it to?
