Title: Suggestions Needed For 2 Cabs
Post by: BAMBOO on January 12, 2014, 06:39:45 pm: Alright ladies & gents, I picked these up in 06 hoping to make these into mini-cades for my little girls, but the years have went and I have had these sitting in storage since. I was thinking about making one into a jukebox but I already have two of those. My wife suggest putting them back to back, throwing a monitor in each going to one PCB and making them some kind of 4 player game like Dungeon's & Dragons, Gauntlet or Battletoads.

Any ideas? I value everyone's opinions on here so it would mean a lot for some suggestions.

Post by: Well Fed Games on January 12, 2014, 09:21:12 pm: My suggestion- a "linked" MAME setup. You could play classics like Bomberman and also the new (indie) revival of local co-op games, like Samurai Gunn and Towerfall (the former just got released on PC, the latter will be soon).

Hit the Ice, Hat Trick Hero, 2 on 2 open ice challenge

Or you could do a basketball theme if that's not your thing for some NBA Jam

Post by: BAMBOO on February 07, 2014, 02:32:47 am: After debating for a month, my kids won with their arguments and I am making one of these a "mini" Ms. Pacman and the other will be a Bad Dudes & Battletoads combo since the kids like those two games the most.
