Since I've switched to Windows XP, I've noticed that with EmuWizard and MAME32 some games display the title bar during the game (i.e. Tron, Tempest, APB). It doesn't happen if I run MAME from the command line or if I use EmuLoader. Any ideas? BTW, the reason I switched to XP is that it runs Dragon's Lair in Daphne smooth as silk while 98SE displayed the video very choppy.
Thanks,
Dan

Have you tried setting the Compatibility to not use XP themes or make it Win98/ME compaitible? (if you are not sure right click on the EXE and click on the Compatibility tab).
I have encountered problems like you state and they have been fixed by setting compatibility to Win98/Me and/or disabling Theme support.
Haven't tried Daphne yet. I only have the CD version of Dragon's Lair not the DVD version (yet).

I tried your suggestions regarding compatibility but nothing seems to work. Thanks for your help, though. I appreciate it.

Nope.. I don't use any enhancement software. It's really strange because I tried duplicating the problem on another machine by setting my monitor to 640x480 but it works fine. My ArcadePC has a Wells Gardner U3100 monitor. I tried switching the resolution to 800x600 but that doesn't help either. Oh well...
Thanks,

Last night I tried setting triplebuffer to 1, but that didn't help. Instead I just got a blank screen when I launched a game in MAME. Maybe it's a video card issue? I'm using a Riva TNT2 M64 with latest reference drivers. Oh well, back to the drawing board...

Dan,
did you try turning off the windows XP themes? i.e. switch to classic windows mode
This turns all the window borders and everything back to the standard gray windows...

Thanks cronus for the suggestion. Unfortunately all that does is give me the classic windows border during the game :( I'm stumped...
