Title: flash drives?

I'm doing my cab on the cheap and i have a computer I got free but it's only a 40gb hard drive which isn't enough. Can I throw a bunch of flash drives in the computer to give me the little extra I need and call it done so I don't have to spend money? It shouldn't hurt performance wise or anything, right?

40gb? IDE?

You are literally better off looking for a second hand drive if that's the case. They are cheaper than a bunch of flash drives.

I dont need much more and I already have spare 8gb flash drives. Why am I better off?
