Title: 2005 golden tee fore
Post by: Joep1999 on January 08, 2014, 04:39:40 pm
I have a 2005 golden tee for that started running very slow.. Sometimes it would take up to a minute between shots, now it's stuck on the start up screen... Would this be a hard drive issue?  Thanks I am new to this so I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong area

the harddrive or the power supply >very common<,if the fan becomes plugged it will suck the ps down, also u should make sure u have a fan on the video card
as that will at times do it also.
but start at the power supply

Thanks ed, I checked the power supply and it's good. When you first power it up it says

Take several minutes to complete
Please be patient.
Checking filesystem number: 0

I left it on for about 20 minutes and never made any progress

Thanks

imho i would go for the disk's
i could up-load mine..but i am in canada
and our s/w is dif then your's
so it is no good for usa game unless u swap out u17
which again imho is not worth it..
reason i do not tend to buy used hd's from fleabay is u never know how they were handled, lord u got to know some one with the size drive u need ?
if not go to a local putter shop or electronic repair shop they will have them
just make sure it is freshley formated..reason is in the windows formating it will chk track 0 and 1,they must pass a test,
then with the disks,u start at rescue..it will format the drive for u also
then it will start to load the game
