Title: can MaLa do a sideways emulator select like Maiximus Arcade?

Can Mala do a sideways emulator select like Maximus Arcade, where there is one system on the screen with arrow keys to the right and left to change systems?

Not animated, but you could make a background with the arrows and map left and right joystick movement to previous and next emulator in Mala.
Mala can switch layouts based on which emulator is selected.
