Title: Must haves for a 23" All-in-1 Touchscreen PC (games, etc)
Post by: mike boss on December 27, 2013, 11:45:43 pm
Have a local guy here who sells 23" All-in-1 touchscreen PC's, pulled, off lease @ $300.
We are having a lil back and forth right now and I'm hoping all works out and I am able to get one in the next week.
Main objective is touchscreen PC using Touch James and sending the music to my existing AV set up via Bluetooth.
(really stoked for that actually!!!!!!)

HOWEVER.............like all projects I do the more bells and whistles the better.

What would you guys do with a touchscreen PC ?

Must have games, manufactures to look into, etc ?

Any and all help appreciated it. I've never really been into "Megatouch" machines so I'm unsure if you can emulate them.

LOL!
Well....................
Went to pick it up, wasn't ready.
Gave the seller the verbal, agreed on a price, and set a time to pick it up.
Get a text that the monitor is not responding to touch.
Seller offers alternative at a higher cost. I counter the seller but he didn't like my offer.
Waiting now to see if we can come to terms.
(I can't seem to win!)

STILL HAVE NOT got this PC @ my house yet!
Seems issue after issue, time after time I simply cant connect with the seller.
HOWEVER today I got an email back and the seller provided a contact number and said come ANYTIME!
Now........I cant go today, I work late....... however 1st stop on the way home Thursday is to get this PC.

So with that said the quest continues to find software titles I could add to this PC to really punch it up.
Perhaps some touch based slot machine type games ? (do they even exist?)

If mouse=touchscreen than you can search Amazon or Walmart (Canadian eh?) for WMS slots, Reel Deal Slots and IGT slots.  Prices vary.
I had loaded some, but all I seem to remember is that you did need a mouse rather than being successful with only a keyboard encoder.

It's @ my house and I'm stoked to start working on this.
Now the quest begins, touch screen games, touch trivia, touch slots.
Amazon, WalMart cleanance bins, etc.........here I come!
Excited !!!

Also if anyone knows any cool sites for touch screen games perhaps you can post the links.
I'll book mark them.

Any cool touch based frontend software exist ?

Subscribing to this since I'm very interested in a list of must haves, as well. Have a 24" 16:10 touch screen that will be part of a "mega touch bartop clone.... thing" at some point.

I will post all findings and do a project thread as I make a lil more progress.
Right now the thread would be too slow.
I'm excited for this project though............I will say that !
