I just picked up my marquee on backlit plastic today and it cost 9.95!! Turns out there is a 1/2 price sale on signs and banners through this Friday.
If you have been procrastinating getting your artwork printed, now might be the time to do it!
(This was the store at the corner of Wall St and Water St. in NYC.)
EDIT: I just called a store in NJ and they had no such sale - call before you go! Seems to be regional.

In that case, who has a scan of an original Mortal Kombat marquee? I need one for the cabinet I'm building, and this would work out well.
Can you give us more details about the backlit plastic sign you made? Is it on plexi, or is it flexible?
-
I am also looking for hi res scans of:
forgotten worlds
ikari warriors

It's some sort of flexible vinyl that is glossy on the front and flat on the back. They print a mirror image on the back, and when you hold it up to the light it looks great.
You need to specify that you want "backlit material" They might refer to is a a backlit sign, but whatever. It rolls up like thick paper.

Thier website claims that different branches can take different formats, but all can take .pdf. The branch I went to took Photoshop also, so I used that.

I have an original Midway MK marquee. Do you want the scan to alter for a marquee or do you need the original? I have no need of the original MK that I have.

Heck, the original would be pretty cool. Is it full size? I was just going to print it from file, but if it's in good shape, and depending on how much you wanted for it...

It is 25 x 7.6 inches. All I would need is to cover the postage. Send me a pm and we will work it out if you are interested.
