So I'm at the stage where I need to mount the 25" tube to the new cabinet. For those that have done this, how did you get everything to line up properly--i.e. the tube with the front bezel? I intend to mount 2 carriage bolts through the side of the cab on each side and bolt to the monitor frame but getting the right alignment has me puzzled. I want this thing to be dead straight the first time since these will be the only holes I have punched in the side of the cab, I want them to be right the first time.

I put the bezel on the monitor first without it in the cab. I then measured the distance the sides of the bezel were away from the mounting brackets on the monitor (kind of an inexact science). I then made marks where I wanted the monitor/bezel to sit back on the slope--I did a half inch back to have the "lip".. I forget how much further the monitor sat.. It will most likely be different for your monitor. As far as centering it vertically and horizontally, thats up to you.. It was half measuring half guesstimation for me... I also used a level on the top of the monitor to make sure it's level--but if your cabinet isn't level it wont help much ;)

Try test fitting it and move things around untill it lines up.
