Hi, help needed!
I've been working on my first cabinet for the last 2 years and thought I had finally finished!....the recent problem I'm having is that after restarting my system mame/ windows is renumbering my usb keyboard/ Ipac/ usb devices so that my original configurations are no longer recognised.
This seems to happen even though I have not unplugged / plugged any of the devices. I have enabled multiple keyboards / multiple mice in mame ini file. I have a trackball & spinner connected & an ipac4 & Ipac 2 . I also wish to have a wirless keyboard attached to be used to play winvice C64 emulator. Is there a simple way to rename / set priority of all my usb devices? If not Im thinking of disabling multiple keyboards/ multiple mice and just using the same key set for all keyboards?

Check this out and see if it helps. I've not followed it's development lately so there may be a better option now but it's great place to start.
