I was setting up my controls recently for some popular roms. Donkey Kong and Galaxian had control setups in the rom for one player and two player. Problem is the two player controls do not work. It always defaults to the player one controls when it's player two's turn. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to set up my player two controls to work?

I dunno what crazy version of MAME you are using, but MAME would not emulate two sets of controls for a game that only had one.
You shouldn't see an option for player 2 controls in those games unless you're mapping the controls globally instead of just for the game you're in.

Badmouth's right. It sounds like you're trying to get MAME to do something the ROMS weren't programmed to do.

Fair enough. That's understandable. I'll try to take a screen shot tomorrow to show you the individual game settings so you don't think I'm crazy.
