I would pick up a wii locally from craigslist and soft mod it yourself. I did it, and really enjoyed the process. If you get a wii prior to 2010, it can play burned DVDs. Newer models have a different disc rom that will not allow you to play burned discs. Not a feature killer, but getting an old wii is better and likely cheaper.

Understanding the modding process was confusing at first. However, once you understand everything, keeping your wii up to date and maintained is extremely simple and hassle free. Any questions, just shoot me a pm.

Its an extremely easy process depending on what firmware version the console is at. You may need a certain game to enable to exploit. I haven't done it in a while since I upgraded to a wii U but I imagine its still the same. Start by picking up a wii locally or online for cheap.

PM'ed ya, I have a Wii I played for about 10 hours total, and 8 of that was beating Link to the Past.

Letterbomb.  You don't need a game if you use that.  I run a few USB loaders, me and my son love the wii.

Letter bomb exploit will work with the latest firmware version which is 4.3. ;)
