It could be that you're just missing a specific codec to play the vid track for those specific files that are failing.

use Avi for Maximus, convertor here http://emumovies.com/forums/index.php/files/file/1065-emumovies-video-converter/ (http://emumovies.com/forums/index.php/files/file/1065-emumovies-video-converter/) , not sure if does FLV to Avi so you may need a different one.
You will also need the correct codec but you probably already have that, try one and see how you go.

OK,  definitely not a codec issue. i just installed every one i could think of. I even switched the Skin back to the default one and its still giving me issues.

I had a similar problem and installed the CCCP codec pack at it worked. Worth a try,

Also, FLV's are no good. You need AVI's.

Thanks, i'll give that a try now. and convert a couple of the videos to AVI, just in case.

Let me know if it works, also found old fashioned MPG2 worked fine.
