So... I live right near Foxwoods (2nd largest casino in united states), and both my parents like to go there. They usually break even and then go home as they enjoyed their time spent there. So, I figured I would buy them a real slot machine for xmas. I purchased an azteca type-b challenge time by electrocoin. It has been professionally refurbished as seen my labels inside, but there is no date on them. It is in good condition aside from a corner of the mdf being chipped and a fist size hole in the rear from when some one locked the keys in it. I think I can bondo the corner and route the hole so it looks like it belongs there.
Anyone have experience modifying these things? I would like to make it Harley themed, including the two marquee areas, center panel, and the rollers. Maybe not right away, but sooner than later.
Tangent: During my google searching, I found this slot machine software http://www.alljsoftware.com (http://www.alljsoftware.com) . This got me thinking about my next project after I finish my mame arcade machine. The software is expensive though ($400).

I removed the bottom and top marquee. The marquee looks like it is a few layers of vinyl (or some sort of sticker) over a piece of 5mm textured plastic.
The florescent light tube for the bottom marquee is right behind the marquee. I think that is one of the reasons the plastic is textured. It also gives it a neat effect in some areas where the vinyl is semi-transparent. I'd like to keep the original artwork just if possible. Any place I could get similar plexi to make new marquees? Is there any marquee shops that use similar materials?

Hi Keil,
Looks like a great project... I have been looking for a similar box to back fit the allj slots into. If you can offer a direction, it would be appreciated.
Contact me directly if you'd like to discuss the allj slots possibility for your project...
