Title: Looking to go digital in a Slikstik cabinet
Post by: SmokinGun on December 04, 2013, 03:54:57 pm
Hello,

I purchased a Slikstik cabinet a while back.  I've been through a few CRT's, and I'm tired of having to deal with the limited resolutions it supports when trying to run various emulators/games.

I know the simplest thing to do would be to take a regular PC LCD and plug it in to the computer.  I'm looking to do this, but I want it to look good as well ;)

Would this do the trick?  http://www.wellsgardner.com/products/details.asp?iCat=1&iSubCat=49 (http://www.wellsgardner.com/products/details.asp?iCat=1&iSubCat=49)

Is this a regular old PC monitor that supports any resolution, or does this only support 640x480 and 800x600 like my Wells Gardner CRT does?

Is there a better way to accomplish this I'm not aware of?
