Hope everyone has plenty of food to eat, plenty of games to play, and plenty of friends and family.
Be thankful for what you have, for even if you think you have nothing, search honestly and Im sure you will find something that you are thankful for.

Happy turkey day to all of you.
I am in a unique position right now. I am in france in a small city called "Arras", finishing up a ridiculously large thanksgiving feast. The cook went all out (old friend of mine), I helped a bit to make it in time for dinner. But it was one, if not, the best thanksgiving I have ever had. French thanksgiving you say?? This friend was an au pair for a family in New York when I met her and she had made them thanksgiving two years in a row. 6 years later she decided to make a huge feast, because....food! And I just happened to be about an hour or two train ride away in London.
I am thankful for that quite a bit, it would have been my first thanksgiving without a giant dinner. Low and behold, thousands of miles away and I am finishing off a keg after demolishing a 20lb turkey.

Well, chalk this year up to "surprisingly pleasant."
I had a text code word arranged with my friends in case someone needed an emergency "HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Put your mom on the phone so I can say hello!" phone call. Nobody has used it thus far.

Yeah, it was alright...

To be fair Metal Slug is waaaaaay more fun than Galaga 88. Keep in mind I'm a "classics" guy myself.
Thanksgiving was fairly enjoyable this year.... we all came out unscathed, so I guess I'll take it. : )
I hope everyone had fun.
